Mosa and Neo are best friends who love playing kgati (rope skipping) together. When one of them suddenly isn’t there anymore, the other is left feeling sad, confused, and unsure of how to carry on without her friend. Skoenlapperhart / Serurubele is a production about friendship and grief within families. Using very little dialogue and games to drive the story, it creates a safe space for children to understand big feelings. Because even when someone we love is no longer with us, we can find comfort in each other, and in the stories we share.
