Two prostitutes, one old, one young and inexperienced. It’s Tillie’s first night. Mathilda, the old prostitute, takes pity on the defenceless girl from the countryside. The two women’s stories become the universal voice of women in all situations. With a good dose of humour, satire, tragedy and raw honesty, the production offers a glimpse into the lives of women who are often looked down upon and judged harshly by society. The story is interwoven with arrangements and music by Coenraad Rall.
