Winand Grundling, known as a top organist, is also a virtuoso pianist and someone with a natural instinct for improvisation and comedy. He found inspiration in the legendary Victor Borge (1909-2000), the Danish-American comedian and pianist, to showcase his own talent with a finely crafted tribute that strives to introduce Borge’s work to local audiences. Borge’s playful and entertaining style, coupled with impeccable technique, is interpreted by Winand and brought to the stage in a concert that promises to make audiences laugh and think. Winand is known to KKNK audiences as an organist and has already been awarded three Kanna Awards.
