Wildehondekloof’s popular fynbos tour and tasting is presented for the second time at the KKNK. Experience the wonder of the Klein Karoo’s fynbos in food. After a short walk in the veld to look at the plants, participants return to the main house where fynbos-flavoured salts, vinegar and tea are tasted. This is followed by a light meal in which fynbos flavours reign supreme. During this excursion, participants learn more about the medicinal value of the local fynbos, as well as how to use it as a natural alternative. Wildehondekloof is located approximately 60 km outside Oudtshoorn, of which the last 8 km is a gravel road. Allow between 70- and 90 minutes travel time.
